Empowering Futures: Local Youth Graduate from Hands-On Skills Program
A vibrant celebration took place at our community hub this week as 35 young men and women officially graduated from our intensive, six-month vocational training program. This cohort specialized in high-demand, practical local trades, including sustainable agricultural techniques, basic electrical installation, and digital literacy. The curriculum was designed not just for technical mastery, but also integrated critical business management basics to prepare graduates to launch their own small enterprises.
To ensure their transition from the classroom to the local economy is seamless, every graduate was equipped with a specialized “Startup Tool Kit” containing industry-standard equipment relevant to their trade. Our livelihood team will continue to provide bi-weekly mentorship and business coaching over the next six months. By bridging the gap between raw talent and marketable skills, this program is actively transforming young lives and stimulating sustainable economic growth within the district.
